Energy Work & Spirit Modalities
In addition to my years of learning and work with Taoist practices, I have trained in Qi Energy and Spirit practices. I share and teach them, as well as drawing on them to offer healing and support for clients and students.
Medical Qigong: I have a Masters of Medical Qigong degree from Three Treasures founder Lisa VanOstrand. This is the energy work arm of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There is more information here:

Ritual: Folded into my Tao Practice teaching is a focus on bringing what we have inside us into the outside world in some personal way. My training in Ritual is mostly from Danield Foor’s Ancestral Medicine curriculum.
Animism and Honoring the Earth: Along with the studies of Ritual and Ancestral Medicine, I have dug into the shifted view and philosophy of Animism from Dr. Foor. This was pivitol in deepening and enriching my Tao work. It gives language to our interconnected world, and a deep respect and wonder at other-than-human life and sensibilities.
All of the above paths of study and practice: Energetics, Ancestral Healing, Ritual and Animism are not departures or replacements to my original Taoist training. I see them as returning me to an order, more whole form of that path.
