Qigong, Neidan & Tao Meditation
Seasonal Sunday Series
My main offerings are the Sunday evening Qigong and Tao Practice courses. The core practices are the foundation methods of Universal Healing Tao, of which I am a Senior Instructor. Each course centers on one or more of those practices:
Microcosmic Orbit & Qi Energy Work
6 Healing Sounds & Emotional Digestion/Cultivation
Inner Smile Meditation
Qigong Sets and Supportive Tao Practices
Along with these, each course includes physical practices drawn from my Medical Qigong training and practices from Sheng Zhen Contemporary Qiong and Mt Emei Shamanic Qigong, such as the 8 Brocades, Iron Shirt Qigong, Kuan Yin Qigong, Mystical Warrior Qigong, Shamanic Shaking, etc. Each class also includes other ideas and practices so that you receive a deep understanding of the practice and the path. Scroll down for descriptions of the upcoming course. Check the “Sunday Series and Free Intros” page to get a better idea of what I teach.

WINTER PRACTICES:
QIGONG & NEIGONG FOR STRENGTH, WARMTH & RESILIENCE
Free Introduction November 3 ~ 7:00-8:30pm (on Zoom)
7-week series November 10 – January 26~ 7:00-8:30pm (on Zoom)
WINTER is the Elemental Season of STILLNESS, of the NORTH, the NIGHT, the COLD and the WATER…
It is the time when much of the natural world turns inward and when we can become chilled and depleted if we don’t attend to our energetic, emotional and physical care. The good news is that it’s not hard to do and it can be engaging, comforting and fun.
Winter is also a time of mystery and dreaming… The long nights and cocooning open us to Dreamtime and deeper esoteric practices. This year, we’ll include Tao dream practices with our Winter Qigong and Neigong.
INNER ALCHEMICAL PRACTICES: In this 12-week series we will learn (or refine and expand) the foundation Qi circulation practices of MICROCOSMIC ORBIT, the THRUSTING CHANNEL and BELT CHANNEL circulations and how to apply them to NOURISH and PROTECT our ENERGY, our KIDNEYS, and WATER ELEMENT QI — all of which are especially challenged in WINTERTIME.
DREAM PRACTICES: We will also investigate Tao Deam practices to invite them into our sleep, guide them away from troubling dreams if necessary and deepen our relationship to our ‘Dream Self’ and the stories it conjures. We will also practice “Re-entering Dreams’ and ‘Dream Sharing’. during our Sundays together.
Along with these Inner Alchemy practices, we will practice the Shamanic Movement Practice MYSTICAL WARRIOR QIGONG (“Mystical Warrior” is a name given to the Celestial Animals of the North… Connected to Winter and Water).
STILLNESS: With these practices that resist the tendencies of Winter, we will also embrace what this time offers: Sitting in moments of quiet and stillness during or after our active practice to align with Winter’s stillness.
The November 3rd Free Introductory Class offers both a “taste” of the series and a 75-minute practice drawn from the curriculum. It is not a “sales pitch” for the series and you are welcome to join even if you cannot attend the series.
The Core Practice: Microcosmic Orbit, Thrusting Channels, Belt Channels
Movement Qigong: Mystical Warrior Qigong
Smaller Practices: Shorter Practices to strengthen Kidneys, Water Element and resilience and connect with Winter’s quiet.
Alchemical Practice: Dream Practices, Inviting them, Guiding them, Sharing them and Re-entering them.
November 3: 7:00-8:15pm (EST/GMT -5)
